During Nvidia and EVGA's Halloween Launch Party 2009, EVGA launched its exclusive GeForce GTX 275 CO-OP PhysX Edition graphics card, marking the first time in history that two distinct Nvidia GPUs have been implemented on a single-PCB design for a single product.

Yes, we know the name sounds like a mouthful, but this card effectively combines the power of an Nvidia 55nm GT200b for graphics rendering with the power of an Nvidia 55nm G92b for PhysX rendering all enclosed within a single convenient product.

More information on this truly unique EVGA exclusive can be found here:

This event took place at Nvidia headquarters, Building B at 2701 San Tomas Expressway, Santa Clara, California USA on October 30, 2009 from 7:00pm PST to 9:00pm PST.

  • ? here i have a bfg gts250 oc editionit says on the box nvidia physx so its integrated on my gpu right? it says its enabled in nvidia control panel

  • Nvidia PhysX is a software feature found in the GeForce drivers you install in Windows to run your GTS 250. Traditionally, both graphics and PhysX effects are processed on a single GPU (graphics processing unit). Your GeForce GTS 250 will process both graphics and PhysX on its 750MHz GPU core.

With the EVGA GeForce GTX 275 CO-OP PhysX Edition, however, it has two separate GPU cores - one for processing graphics, the other for processing PhysX.

  • very well put im impressed 1 more ? though is there really that much of a difference between lets say how my card verses the way a dedicated physx card renders phyx i know when i run the same demos on my dads 8800gt i dont see a hell of a lot of difference in how it looks albeit my card is far better than his 8800.

  • It all depends on display resolution and CPU bottlenecking. Every Nvidia PhysX performance evaluation is specific to the system's core hardware configuration.

  • So do have an idea when Nvidia will come out with a dx11 card? Also I have a gtx275 right now will it work in dx10 mode with a dx11 game?.

  • Dude, Nvidia's DirectX 11 launch plans have been all over the news for the past three days..

Two single-GPU models are launching at the end of March and will be known as GeForce GTX 470 and GeForce GTX 480. The former has 448 shaders while the latter has the full 512.

Two months later in May, the dual-GPU monster will launch. Most assume it will be named GeForce GTX 495.

Go open up Google News and search for "geforce gtx 480" you'll learn everything you need to know.

  • thumbs up if u barely heard shit

  • I feel so bad I've bought a GTX 285

  • 512 Nvidia shaders sounds nice, heh I remember when 128 was state of the art.

My 96 SP 9600GSO fits all my needs already, what power these new cards have.

  • wow i go to mission college and this meeting was next to my school lol.

  • Cool thanks I'll look it up.

  • I'm going to buy one of those is smart! because is cheaper than buy one for GPU and other for Physx also makes possible to use SLI + Physx dedicated.

    A great idea from EVGA.
