I've played guitar all my life and am just recently messing around with ruans. I watched a handfull of guzheng videos including yours. I Immediately researched makers and bought a duo crane to learn on. It should be here this week, I can't wait. Its a harp, no its a guitar, its a bass, no its... perhaps the best thing I've seen with strings in the hands of someone who can rock it, that being you. You really demonstrate what this thing is capable of some of your videos. I'm a fan of your work.

Its a shanghai and could take awhile to replace where I live. I read your musical influences and its no wonder I like what you do. You have good taste in music, according to me at least. Never in my life have I seen a woman who is into squarepusher, lol... pure win. If I were someone like bjork I'd probably rather write music with you than someone from the conservatory in china. Thats because classical training often makes music a function instead of an expression.

@Vlaxitov oh no !!! that is really sad news.. thank you again for your encouraging comments i'm so humbled.. i really really love well produced and original electronic works, rhythm is a huge part of my improvisation, not being classically trained has its benefits and down falls, but the creative freedom is what i enjoy most ! music is my voice, i just love to sing through these voices of the long zithers and i'm so glad you really enjoy them too !!

I play drums for 23 yrs and ...I dun understand the negative comments at all... as far of tuning table.. that is just a mic ussue here..and he didnt do any difficult stuff but alos nothing that bothered in any way...so

@nivsha Good manners and an elitist pretentious overture of eastern peace preaching is no substitute for incompetence. Tabla is a religious art form, it must be studies in context with Hindu scripture and belief, to belittle an ancient culture in this way adds to the negative stereotype that my people suffer. Other religions get paid the respect they deserve, Jewish leaders do not allow people without 100% commitment to their faith into their place of worship, I'm sick of new age hindu wannabes.

@shomitb my friend is a really great person and artist, tabla may not be an instrument he mastered, but it is a musical instrument anyone can practice and express themselves on, he wholeheartedly was jamming lovingly with me, what you see and hear is just that. no need for harsh words. namaste...
