I love this song. It reminds me of being at my grandmas house during the summer listening to this on her old record player. : ) Music likes this makes me wish I was born in an earlier decade.

@Weeds2Roses Thanks. It's been 10 months, but I don't know if it's gotten better. His brother was my best friend and I haven't heard from him in 4 months. After the accident, he withdrew (naturally), but we kept in touch for several months, but in April all communication ceased on his end. So in essence I feel like I lost two friends.

@musicaltheatergeek79 I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. This is a wonderful song to remind you to think of the good times you had.

One unusual legacy of this musical was that it was relatively easy to produce.
We did this in US Army Korea and working with the Army brats Christianson sisters, Leon Odenz, Michael Lee, Curtis White, Michael Himes, the fantastically talented Lawrence L'Aquement,Gene Flowers, Stephan Milarsky,William Rodgers,Vance Lewis, and the producer, Heddy Steudler. If I missed anyone, forgive me.
Traveling around Korea hauling that fucking harp (Hi, Regina) was a wonderful experience.

Great sound from Lenny Briscoe....I have never ever heard a bad word about Jerry Orbach...That's one helluva legacy. we should all be so lucky,,,We Will remember and follow.
There is nothing like the right voice for the American Musical Theatre singing a great song.
Yummy, and so simple.

I always loved this song.
I thought Jerry Orbach was great on Law and Order.
Until now I did not know this song and Jerry Orbach belonged together.
Thank you.

You're welcome. He was a real treasure for (or of) the theatrical community--42nd Street, The Fantasticks, Chicago, as well as being Lumiere in the Disney classic: Beauty and The Beast.
