@WoollyMammoth16 I agree with you actually or half agree, I think in general the movies don't do justice to the books, Tolkien books specially, but this battle is so epic and such sad chapter I think it should exist this and the Narn i hin Hurin are so beautiful yet sad to not be made, but not in the Jackson standard because those are certainly not enough, something with more style but more importantly with much more substance.

there is no film that could capture the awosemness of silmarillion or any other tolkien work except lotr and the hobbit...silmarillion is just....too much for any movie maker...
