You can bring back the 80s, but not by sitting around saying "lets bring back the 80s!" It would require a massive, coordinated marketing effort, with a set plan of action and divisions of key influencers placed at strategic points.
I'm a marketing executive and business administrator. Trust me. It *can* happen, but it would require a serious coordinated and focused effort from more than 1 position, following a preconceived strategy.

@Fungi2131 Being a child of the 80s.....I normally believe in never say never, but.....To what you're hoping for, that's never gonna happen.
In the 80s, they tried with everything they had to bring back music from the 60s. Didn't work. Same with trying to bring back good stuff from the 80s, now.
All that can be done is cheezy top 40 synthesized stuff, and that's already been done repeatedly. Sad but true...
