@1990babyface My Himalayan cat purred a lot. If you touched him, he would purr. He was very friendly and would sit with us often - he enjoyed our company. Himalayans are supposed to be lap cats I believe - but it would probably depend on the individual cat's personality. My cat was more of a cuddling-up-on-your-lap type when he was younger; but when he was older, he would sometimes sit on our laps and stuff. He'd let us hug him as well, but again that would depend on the individual cat.

@1990babyface I can't speak for the entire breed, but my Himalayan cat was very docile, especially as he got older. He bit and scratched a bit when he was little; but only when he was provoked. He was really playful and was definitely a social cat. I did some research on Himalayans, and have read that the breed is normally a social, docile animal; that it was a good family pet. :)

Yes - Weezle is a he. But he's not mine! He's actually the father of the two kittens (see the "Lychee & Bamboo" video) that my parents just got! I hope they turn out as sweet natured and gorgeous as Weezle....
