For those thinking that Mike was going to kill Jesse:
He WASN'T aiming at Jesse. Look at the distance between them, depth wise. Jesse was at least two feet from Mike's body (Again, depth wise), and when Mike aims, he's aiming straight ahead, NOT in Jesse's direction.
Also, notice how Mike NEVER looks at Jesse as he's aiming.
Mike is just checking the perimeter to see if it's safe to get in the car, and the quick change in aim is because he notices the Cartel shooter. Nothing more.
