*Ubuntu Can Be A Very Confusing OS for beginners, Please Do Not Hesitate To Ask For My Help*

http://quesomanrulz.com - Hey Everyone, Quesomanrulz here. This is a video I made showing how to create an Ubuntu Live CD. For those who don't know a Live CD it is a CD that you put in at the startup of your computer (not at the start of windows, right after you push the power button). This CD will then boot you into Ubuntu insted of Windows without making any permanent changes to your computer (meaning after you turn the computer off and pop out the disk the computer will be exactly the same). I actually have Ubuntu dual-booting on my system because I like it so much. Also, for those who don't know what Ubuntu is: It is a Linux distribution (probably the most popular) and is open source. The newest version which you will be downloading off of Ubuntu.com is Version 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex). Thanks for watching everyone and remember: Subscribe!!!

  • Can Someone help me please when i boot up my pc it goes to the ubuntu screen but when i press enter on try it or whatever it say the cd spins than it stop and nothing..Btw its not the disk bc i burnt 2 cd's and they both do the same thing..Any help would be appreciated..

  • Wait longer, I had this problem once and I found that worked. If you leave it for 10 minutes and it still doesn't work you need to burn at a lower speed. Something like 4x should be safe.

  • hey, i have a problem, i got this laptop with a Nvidia display driver, and i think it is stopping the live ubuntu cd from booting up, so there is no way i can boot into ubuntu and no chance of installing it, so please can u either tell me how to fix this, or witch other lunux distro would work and is good, thnx

  • Hope that someone can help. I've been trying to install Ubuntu or Kubuntu. I want to replace XP on an old computer. When I try to install I get an error message that says something like ‘ENN: Error reading xeclur 9294’ in green across the screen. It comes up a number of times while it’s loading and the number at the end is different on each line. CD seems to speed up and slow down. Tried the following: slow burn on cd, changed things on f6, try OS without installing & I have checked the md5sum.

  • ubuntu 11.04 4live

  • i used IMGburner

  • @quesomanrulz When you restart back to Windows if you restarted the computer and eject the ubuntu boot disc, don't you have to re-install everything back when you switch back to Windows?

  • @lordjames2670 Im stuck with bell :/
