So the big question would be: iWork or Office for Mac 2011 (i think that the name of the next version...)? Im a long time Mac runner, and i need a new mac for school. Though i have tried the last version of office for mac, and hated it. But the next version looks much better. So what is your view on this?

to upload things to iwork.com do you have to have a mobile me account? Say i have a friend that i want to send it to who is a windows user and doesn't have mobile me, can they still see it?

hey whats the difference between iwork 08 and 09? I have 08, but not sure if its worth getting the update. I only use it for school (papers, presentations)

Are you American or English? Because at some points it sounds like you're an English person putting on a really bad American accent.

This is great - really useful information - thanks!
for school papers would it be better to buy word on mac or stay with iwork?

Great question. I manage to get be with just iwork, after all you can always convert your iwork documents to word format when you save them. It seems to be pretty good at opening the different office file formats.

I think so. its a lot cheaper than office for mac, and I think it does a better job, especially with integration with OSX.
