Trying out my new camera. It worked fine this day but all other attempts to video or photo came out weird like this:

GoPro support has seen a sample image and they think it's a faulty image processor so I'm sending it back for repair or replacement.
One thing I wish I had known before purchase was that you can't set the date. That's pretty important and they said they will address that in future.
I've also realized that I should have got the normal angle instead of wide angle version for the best bike videos (my main purpose). I haven't used it while rowing yet but I expect the wide angle will be better for that.
