WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase is basically... a WiiWare download to showcase the microgames you made on the DS version of the game! You can also download Weekly Games, Big Name Games, and Theme Games which are freely available every week or so.

Here we'll be looking at the second (and last) of this week's Big Name Games:

"Metroid" - Yoshio Sakamoto
--------------------------------------

This one is pretty basic: Click on the metroids to freeze them, and then Samus will blast them! They try to wriggle out of the way, but are hardly a match. The metroids are drawn pretty well, and they satisfyingly disintegrate - Samus looks fine, too. But... Zero Suit Samus looks a little odd to me. Maybe it's her nose? (Interesting... "flavor" sounds in the music, there)

One thing to note about these Big Name games, is that the "Bio" is only viewable when you go and download it! If they ever remove these from the download service, you'll never see them again~ (unless you, say, watch my videos, ah?)

Anyhoo, same speed-up every four and capping after 32 thing as well as no real difficulty change.

I like how it had Samus' theme. I might download this eventually. I'd like to get the DS one but I'm trying to avoid making big purchases for a while.

Not that I'm creative at all.

It's supposed to be a pretty good introduction to user-generated kinds of things. Also, seeing that you are making games that last about 5 seconds the workload isn't all too bad and gratification can come quickly.

Ooh, wow you're right. Just take a look at that thing! With those eyes and that nose, it kind of reminds me of Shrek or Fiona.
