  • Fuckin GREAT drumsolo!

  • Wonderful vídeo...hugs.

  • This is my favorite of Lee's solos, on "lee-way" - it seems impossible to tire of listening to the clean attacks & seemingly endless deluge of ideas flowing from "Morgan's Organ" (to borrow the title from an old Maynard tune, featuring saxman Lanny Morgan). A lovely ivory-ticklin' ensues, by the always-reliable Bobby Timmons, followed by Art Blakey keepin' time, then showing off his considerable "one-drum" talent, before the band reenters to sing the Suite on home. One BOP from Blakey ends it!
