I built this fairly simple green house early this year and filled it with my seedlings for my vegetable and flower gardens around my property.

Hey do I need fans running all day in my green house

@davidculiacan22I have two circulation fans running in side anytime I have plants in it. it keeps the temps regulated throughout the greenhouse. Also, it helps to strengthen the plants. As for the ventilation fans (I have two) I have them set on temprature switches. Once comes on when it gets up to 70, the other comes on when it hits 85. At the other end, I have the two inlet vents. You can see I have a screen door on that end, when there is not chance of freeze.

the roots need space to grow i would suggest bigger containers or just plant the in the ground

@hollymint Those are plants waiting to be transplanted into gardens. Thats why their in small 1040 trays and 3" cups.

How's your greenhouse holding up after a year now?? In retrospect, would you do anything different?

I've been looking at diy designs, and I'll probably build mine similar to your design.

@HanaandRazor Well, It's holding up nicely. Things I would have done differently are.... GreenHouse Plastic to begin with instead of the cheap stuff you get at home improvement centers. 4 months after I build this..the plastic just shattered, I'm still cleaning it up almost a year later. Also, I would have leveled the ground better and either brought in gravel for underneath the flooring or maybe even concrete.

Everything else just needs upgrades like the doors that I used old used cheepy doors.

I will be building a greenhouse and your video sure helps in rethinking how I should build it. I was going to H.D. for the plastic but now I will order it from a reputable provider. I love the side portion of your greenhouse (wood). I was just going to attach my 3/4" PVC with EMTstraps on the bottom to hold them in place to the 2x4.

How tall is your greenhouse? Mine will be 12x14 feet.
