The whole 'Arnel Sucks! No He Doesn't! Yes He Does!!' 'debate' is a bit sad. Most Journey fans would prefer to have Steve Perry up there providing he was healthy enough and with enough of his voice there to do the job. Sad fact is that it isn't going to happen. If you can't cope with the fact that Journey has existed for longer without him than with him and are forging ahead with their third 'new' singer then that's fine, you don't HAVE to listen. ;)

@newERNIEifyJourney According to Perry himself in a very recent interview he parted company with Journey because he wouldn't commit to getting surgery on his hip and couldn't do a full scale tour due to health issues. The band wanted to go out on tour to promote the 'Trial By Fire' album and Perry helped stiff the album. He seems reconciled to it now but there was a lot of bad blood between Perry and the band for around ten years.
