This movie was so underrated at the time because of Disney reigning supreme in the animation world...I think this is a fine film and that Judy Garland has a voice that possess so much talent and vigor that you'd never see today in the music world. I love this movie, it's a work of art.

@dolphinluv2413 I feel like this wasn't trying to have good animation, the main focus is on the style of the city, being Paris. I feel like the scenery is much more artwork reflecting the times that actual locations. That's just my take on it. It could just be bad animation. haha

I never knew Judy Garland was the vocals for mewsette. no wonder this was always airing on telivision in the 90s. the song goes superb with her vocals. roses red vilots let me make this clear to you! when your in love its always true!

My cat's name is Mewsette. I remember watching this when I was really little but I never made the connection until my Mom told me this is where she got the name from a few years ago. My cat is 13. lol

im currently studding a art and design course,then hopefully a degree in photography, i must admit this animation is very simple yet it has this very modern/contemporary feel, some of the scenes have almost been taken out of van gough paintings,,, its so amazing. i watched this ones in my life about 12/14 years ago lol seeing this is so strange
