Fouettés are the pirouettes done by the female dancers where in each turn the leg goes from "passé" to "developé à la seconde" real quick. I don't know if I explained myself clearly ... :S

The individual tours are called Tours a la Seconde, as the pose is with the leg raised in the second position. The series of tours comprises a single Grande Pirouette, regardless of the number of tours or variations of poses in the tours: it is a single Grande Pirouette.
