  • really useful tips ..great video

ive another question to you as you are an experienced DJ.

How much time in a usual week do you spend on getting to know new music that you might use in your set?

    thanks

  • @SilencedTomato I am always checking as music comes in. Otherwise if I wait I will be overwhelmed with music.

  • Thanks very much for the advice Lenny. I've been a fan of yours since the early 90s. You are a true inspiration. I want to be a success like you.

  • great advice man, thanks alot :)

  • DJ Tutor sent me and all I have to say is awesome stuff. I really learned a lot from this. Thank you for putting this together!

  • Thanks for them words of insperation. great advice

  • Hi, Lenny. Great video, and I would love to see some more tutorials or Q/As. This is my question: To become a well-known DJ (not necessarily international superstar though, it might just be a recognizable name within the DJ community in your country), how important is producing? I've read loads of magazines emphazising that you sooner or later as a comitted DJ should start producing aswell.

    Thanks again.

  • @astrologyfanatic agreed, and when he says always he means always ! think of it as a lwyer always having to keep up with new laws/loopholes/cases etc.. its a very full-time job... but worth every second !!

  • Wooo Lenny!! I love The Way!! I too think the only way to get into superclubs is to make great music and have people know you because of it. I also agree you have to love it, I would go so far as to say you should probably be obsessed with it to make it big. What do you use for music production software?
