CBRN respirator CT12 manufactured by Avon Rubber
most purposes of use = counter terrorism

I got this mask as unused supply from a collectors market.
omission of the drink tube proves that the mask is CT12.
the mask came with the anti-flash dark lenses, NBC 40mm canisters, user handbook for CT12/FM12, exclusive carry bag, and canteen.
the SST on the right side of the mask is removable so it allows changes of canister position and also dual-canister.

  • Ok thanks

  • @keleenorion

I've just seen this kind of canteen in Militaria category on eBay, so check it out.

  • Where did you get the water canteen

  • @keleenorion

thx for the comment. the canteen and these attachments came with the mask I bought with the help of my friend. I'm not sure but you could find one on eBay.

  • Are the flash lenses integrated into the mask, or removable? Do you know if/where they can be bought separately? thanks

  • @priceman141

thx for the comment. mine are intergrated. I guess there's no anti-flash lenses for CT12/FM12 which are removable. but u could order with the original clear lenses depends to the seller. the lenses should be like this one (protechsales . com/products/16).

  • @Smagnor it will work just fine

well..this is my personal opinion. mission time on counter terrorism doesn't take so long after they made a move so they don't need to keep hydration at all times. I guess that's why they dared to omit the drink tube to get some lightness on the mask to carry out a mission quickly even a bit. but FM12, it's mostly used by Army. u know, at war, mission time isn't clear and they also need to prepare for a various situations. so I guess they need to have minimum lifeline on the mask.

Cool thanks for the info. But doesn't that mean that the FM12 is better than the CT12 because of the drinking tube feature? I'd like to purchase the current SAS version, but I don't understand why they would use an inferior product. More info is greatly appreciated.
