  • Love airport beacons! Always reminds me of going to the airport with my dad and flying his 140 Cessna. As a kid I was always infatuated with the green and white rotating lights and it followed me to this day. Love the beacons so much I made a miniature one for my back yard and posted a video. Check it out. Thanks for posting the video!

  • @k9cop68 I hope to film again one foggy night. I'm sure its really neat with a beam cutting through mist.

  • It's fun, while driving cross country, to count the number of these beacon lights! I was always surprised at just how many tiny little airfields there really are.

  • Thanks for the comment. We are expecting another blizzard this Fri night, .....after 4-5 inches last night and 9 inches last week. We have had lots of snow lately!!!!!! :-)

  • This would look extra neat on a really foggy night.

  • Ouch! Sounds like you're getting what we had in December.

You know it's been a hard winter, when they forecast 5" of snow...And it seems like no big deal!
