There is no "bad" time to be in Ocracoke. I love that place! Summers there are awesome but sometimes it's hard to find a place to stay. A very cool place.

i grew up in and around Elizabeth City, NC and always wanted to visit Ocracoke but I never made it there :)

Aww yay! You should come down sometime, but like, in the summer. It's absolutely gorgeous down here when it's warm enough to hit the beach and the shops are all open.
