Just a little vid I've made with pictures I took during my tour in Afghanistan. First montage ever. The videos at the end were not filmed by me, but I was there, in the "very front seats". It is American Kioa helicopters and Canadian artillery supporting us during a firefight. Thanks for leaving a comment.

  • @caporalchef4 thats awesome :) thanks for the comments about my Grandpa, we talk about those days often. Stay in touch and stay safe. cheers

  • @MrBNaylor Not a joke, I assure you!! American Kioa helicopters and our artillery pounded the way before our main assault on ennemy compounds. The view you have is from our platoon MG support team. The main troop body was wating 300 meter to the front, on the right flank of the ennemy positions. On that day, we killed a dozen Taliban and discovered a weapons cache. One of our section commander was actualy hit by schrapnel but nothing serious. Respects to your Granpa, the old breed!

  • @caporalchef4 I'm sure thats no joke either lol. The creeping barrage.....My grandfather said they were laying down shells only a few hundred meters ahead of their infantry at some points in WW2, I think thats why he told me to be a crewman.

  • @MrBNaylor No it's schrapnels from friendly artillery shells, LOL!!

  • awesome video Mike, was that a bullet flying by the camera @ 8:05 area in the vid?

  • Rentrez bien au pays Caporalchef4 et continuez à donner de vos nouvelles de votre Terre natale !
