Don't just sign out, delete all cookies and other browsing data ;-)
The cookies can do what they want inside your system and still gather information for their makers.

yeah google will still track you by IP adress and every letter you type in is sent right back so google...this doesnt save you...

if you really think that just signing out of your gmail account will stop google from saving every keystroke you make, you are probably in 6th grade. And who cares anyway? No one is watching what you're doing on google, unless you are a very special person of interest, which in that case; what you've typed on google would be the last of your worries. The biggest problem is what google COULD turn into, not what it already HAS turned into.
