Right after this meeting, the 1987 squad was invited on the dinner by the President of Pakistan, where he was offered for the Captaincy again & who can forget the major victory of 1992 in cricket history.

After 1987 World Cup, Imran took retirement. He was having his vacation in Lahore, where he met a Sufi Buzurg -- to whom Imran went to see with his friends.
The Sufi baba asked him, "You are captain of Pakistan Cricket Team"
Imran: Yes I was, but I now I am retired
Sufi: What ever you say, but I am looking you as a Captain of the Pakistan cricket team & with a major victory.
