This WAS NOT discovered by me.

Essentially I've been poking around for DK64 glitches after seeing some from Cheeseoman and came across this one and after seeing it decided to try it out. It's not easy

The trick is to do an aerial attack a split second after you jump and mash the b button so you can kick after you land. If you did it right you go flying like Superman. This also has to be done on a slope that you don't slip from, like the one shown here. This can be done in real time like how I did, not too sure if it's possible on a console, if it is it's 1000 times harder than on an emulator as I've tried for 2 hours on my console.

Learning glitches like this gives me ideas for this game, anyone care for a 0 GB speedrun? =D

  • You know, I actually pondered that possibility.

If it were possible to glitch into the factory, the desert, the caverns, and the mushroom place, it could be possible to do a 1-golden banana run. (You have to get one in the factory to get the coin). However, those are pretty big ifs at this present point.

  • @Mariopower201 I know a glitch that lets you skip the door where you need the two coins which I actually will show off in my LP because the Jetpac game is too glitchy to get the coin on an emulator, and I have seen glitches where you can by pass pretty much anything so it is possible to do a 0 banana run

  • @Lennyohh Really?

Then it probably is possible then.

    *Starts planning a route*

  • @Mariopower201 These glitches are very hard to perform though and because this isn't TASable you can't use slowdown for frame precision so it gets frustrating at times, especially the C-Up glitch

  • NO WAY! I did this on accident when i got the game, years ago! I'm like. O___o. Good times. XD

  • ow my hands, works though

  • @MandLhatemileycyrus

There's a MUCH easier one using tiny and he backflip kick thing on the side of the mountain. The only way i've successfully gotten into crystal caves early. And after the 2 hours it took, and i got inside, i realized i didn't really want to be there yet XDD

  • @QuilavaOwns I know right? I've actually gotten him to do the moon kick consistently but it's getting him to grab onto the ledge that is causing me trouble.

  • You can do it on a console.. i've been trying to get into the crystal caves early for the past two hours, and have successfully moonkicked twice. My issue is getting him to grab onto the effing ledge. =.=

It IS hard and frustrating trying to get the moonkick to work though.. i've learned that on that particular slope, it seems to be easier if you do it near the top.

  • how did u do that?

  • You CAN do this on the actual console. I find it harder on the emulator. The lag is the only reason, lmao. Plus I've only been trying this for 15 min. o.o

  • @zeshiba No, there's a falcon kick too. Just play Super Smash Brothers. And who is this fear person? >_>

  • @Mariopower201 actually its punch and i'm glad fear's getting more views :D so lucky to be you fear my buddy
