(Done in 2001)I was trying out some rotoscoping with Adam Ant's 'Stand and Deliver' music video. I drew each individual frame on the computer using Painter 7 and a wacom tablet. I used Adobe After Effects to animate the frames together. Then I used Adobe Premeiere to do the rest of the Post-Production. I placed some of my own characters into the scene.

  • wow ur good u made the rite chose by doing an adam ant song

  • Thanks. At the time I was planning on doing a storyline based on Adam Ant's song. But unfortunately it's been pushed back each time with a brand new project and work. :/

  • I thought the other characters were very sloppy, but Adam looked great! Will you finish the rest of the video, or is this all you plan to do?

  • This project is about 7 years old, which I had done for myself to see what I could do. The other characters were merely fill-in's. I've moved on to other projects now. I've had plans to expand the character designs as well as the storyline for Adam Ant's character.

  • You know, I was expecting this to be bad... But this was really amazing!

I love how accurate it is when he goes "All mine!" you got the emotion perfect! Five Stars!! =]

  • Thanks a lot. This rotoscope project helped me to get his facial features down for this Adam Ant Anime/manga character I was working on.

  • Remember A-ha video, take on me, power, please the sound distortioned in my computer

  • The bits of him singing are Amazing! You've got the facial expressions dead on, 'cos that could easily have got lost in translation. I love the mirror bit too. Brilliant!

  • Thats awesome. I love that effect, it always makes things seem more storylike (if that makes any sense x) ) Also it reminds me of the Take On Me video :)

  • Very good! I've studied animation for a year now and i know how tricky and frusttrating it can be i am very impressed :)

  • Cool effects!

  • wow,good stuff!
