OtterBox Defender Case Evo 3D Hands on Review

Hands on review for the OtterBox Defender Evo 3D case.

Otterbox was denying that this case even existed and that the case was a knockoff, and that they were not even sure if they were going to release a line for the EVO 3D. But the next day Otterbox released a statement confirming they had indeed made a defender case for this phone and that they had "accidentally" shipped 25 of the defenders to a retailer that in turn sold them on ebay.

Does this case make the EVO 3d considerably thicker and/or less appealing than with the case off? I know that Otterboxes are extremely durable and tough but I don't want a primary case that turns off my phone's appeal if you get my meaning. ;)

@FLteenm1a1 It adds a little thickness, but it does not make it unmanageable. It is def thinner than the evo 4G otterbox case that had the crappy plastic kickstand.

Can the phone be placed in the holster with the screen on the outside?

@mail2n yes. I wish I had touched that in my review. there is a tab that locks the clip all the way open on the hoslter, this acts as a kickstand. then you can put the phone in screen facing out.
