  • I have the dvd of this concert, I love to go to it to be inspired to keep at it with my jazz band music.

  • coming late to the gig ..., as was his habit....stooping under the arch to the bar because he was so tall...says hello to a few people, makes his way to the bandstand.

and p-roceeds to deliver. almost 13 minutes of killer bop.....

No one played like this guy.....He was the transitional link from swing to bop on Tenor.....

The local guys he plays with here step up sweetly.....especially the drummer.....

He's the same drummer who plays on the "Ladybird" video you can find here.

  • Guy Pedersen c'est mon tonton... Disparu depuis 2005; un grand plaisir de voir cette Jam Session.

    Voilà !!!

  • Voluptous sound, intense drive, class act, doesn't get much better in any style.

  • These guys wore suits and ties. Even the audience looks classy. Oh where did the music go??

  • Dex is the Man!

  • @playon51 ohh yeah

  • Genial!!!!Hermoso!!!!!!!

  • so cool, he was the Steve McQueen of jazz

  • @Katiarix ditto
