The Greater Olympia Dixieland Jazz Society hosted America's Jazz Festival on June 25 - 28, 2009, in Lacey, Washington, at Saint Martin's University. There were 10 bands and 3 venues. A large contingent of RVs parked right outside two of the venues. The bands also played for the public at the Olympia, WA, Farmer's Market and at a number of local church services on Sunday morning. The bands were: St. Louis Rivermen, High Sierra, Grand Dominion, Coast 2 Coast, Wolverines, Titan Hot Seven, Ivory & Gold, No Inhibitions, Uptown Lowdown, and Bob Schulz' Frisco Jazz Band.
