That is a good question. Like everything in math, prime numbers have a definition. If you read the definition, it tells you what prime numbers are, a rule. But that might not satisfy your curiosity. Think of prime numbers as unbreakable numbers. Prime numbers are used to make numbers that are not prime. For example, 16. 16 is composed of prime numbers: 2*2*2*2 = 16. That is why 16 is called composite number, .because 16 is composed of prime numbers.

My home work ask me what prime numbers after 19 and you to stop there but oh well. Thank you for the vid I understand it now:)
