Eric R. (aka Azraeleterni) talks about the recently released "Quick Prayer" option available in Runescape released with the patch on 3/25/2009.
"The fourth upgrade for this week will save you valuable seconds in times of need. The Prayer button near the minimap has undergone an overhaul so you can now set a prayer, or group of prayers, before you go into action, and activate or de-activate it with one click. The button will also indicate the loss of Prayer points by gradually fading out similar to the behaviour of the Hitpoints button. This should help prevent you accidentally running out of Prayer points, and finding yourself suddenly vulnerable to attack."

-Easier use of offering bones to POH altars (quantity)
"When it comes to great weapons and armour there is plenty of choice in RuneScape. In fact there are so many different items its sometimes hard to keep track of them all. This is why we are introducing the pre-purchase advice tool. Before you buy anything from a shop, at the Grand Exchange, or from another player you can now check out what the bonuses of the item are, and, in the case of worn items, whether there are any restrictions that might prevent you from wearing them. You can use this tool to find out what skills you need to train, and what quests you need to complete, to use a particular item."

You've always been able to stack prayers to a point. Maximum is 8 at one time I think. But prayers like Protection from Melee and Protection from Range can't stack, while prayers like Reflexes, Ultimate Strength, and Steel Skin can. However Ultimate Strength and Mystic Might cannot because they're different styles of combat.
