  • This song inspires me to serve in the Canadian forces with even more devotion to protect my fellow comrades.

  • @israelforreal while i appreciate your sentiment, i am highly skeptical that canada even needs protection so much.. people are not so much out to get you as induced paranoia by media outlets leads us all to believe (think) the main battle to fight as far as i can tell is the one within ourselves, to remain peaceful thru all..

it's simple but not easy. hope you can look to deeper levels the song and other items hint towards too.. just couldn't let comment go without a reply so...

  • check the songs page for my comment

  • @israelforreal okay yeah great.. i'm not manipulating your comment tho'.. i'm just expounding on it in my way.. i don't think i'm smart just frustrated that so many people choose war and/or military actions over diplomacy etc. i'm sure canada is not like u.s a.. in that way as much..it's all quite a lot to delve into in this forum for sure.. i was reluctant to put in my 2 cents, but oh well.. glad you can get good from projects etc. don't need to use military for em that's all. be peace.

  • I never thought about it before but listening to this song now, wow, the Brazilian influence is powerful. So is the message, if not too politically incorrect in 2011.

  • @StamfordAmy yeah.. brazil influenced lots in the 70s (thank goodness ! i say).. no message is timeless.. forget pc eh ! aloha ! thanks.

  • One of my favorite BTO songs, is this smooth or what!? Thanks for the post! mj

  • Totally relaxing; great song choice-love how the two guitar leads overlap each other. Beautiful video through and through!!!!!!

  • You just got excited and completely manipulated my simple one sentenced comment. The Army does many other things then just go to war. I spent the last two weeks working at the Red River Ex in my home town. And the other five weeks prior to that helping sandbag whole communities from Flood waters. Okay man so don't presume so much in the future okay.

  • Wow I'm not really sure what to say. First i understand you love giving that same tired old speech about how the media induces fear into everyone. You must think you sound really smart everyone's heard that before.

Second never once did i mention that Canada is under any immediate threat or is constantly danger. I simply said it makes me think of the camaraderie that I feel serving in the forces together. It's like family.
