Very Promising Young Horse - DEL MAR, 2008 Dutch Warmblood Gelding (UB40/KWPN - Weltmeyer/Han)

Del Mar (UB40-Weltmeyer) 2008 KWPN-NA Gelding recently joined our family as a future dressage competitor. He has the most exciting bloodlines available today and absolutely wonderful personality and charisma. He became the #1 Dutch Colt In North America in 2008 and conquered the title of GAIG/USDF Breeder's Championship Finales Grand Champion - such a neat guy! His success was quite predictable: the Sire, UB40, is one the most "electric" and breath taking performing Dutch stallions in USA and the sire of numerous Champion offspring. The maternal Grandsire, great Weltmeyer, Stallion of the century, does not need any introduction. Del Mar is not only an incredible athlete and natural uphill mover, he is also smart, eager to please and incredibly people loving fellow. I'm so proud to have him with us!
Here he is shown playing together with his Full Sister, a yearling from 2009. It was during my pre-purchase trip i made the video. Now Del Mar has a new home here and i hope one day he makes the spectacular dressage carreer !

@pattihal Thank you for the comment! He is smart, very brave and always here for you - the must for a dressage horse, i believe. He started now his new growth - currently 16.1h - and looks more elegant and refined now. Can't wait to see him when he is fully developed!

@NativeHiro Thank you! He is a very special guy and so much fun to have around. The other horse running with him here is a filly, his full sister, one year younger (very tall!) - both foals are already sold to new owners. Del Mar is capable to go all way up in dressage and even in jumping, so i'm looking forward to start him soon under saddle to develop his huge potential. It is so exciting!
