Video review of SonoSite's M-Turbo portable ultrasound machine. The M-Turbo is the upgrade to the SonoSite MicroMaxx. As with other SonoSite products, this ultrasound is ideal in specific situations and is extremely popular in areas such as Musculoskeletal, Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, Needle-Guided Injections, Emergency Departments, Venous, and Anesthesia for Nerve Blocks. Physicians looking to add ultrasound to their practice are the most typical buyer for the SonoSite products, and the M-Turbo is in a price range that is affordable for some practices and most hospitals. Also good in this situation are the SonoSite MicroMaxx, Mindray M5, Mindray M7, and GE Logiq e. SonoSite has siblings of the M-Turbo known as its S-Series... S-Nerve, S-MSK, etc. that have similar image capabilities but a completely different user interface that is designed for their specific anesthesiology, MSK and other markets. The M-Turbo is the more versatile machine that is capable of full shared-service ultrasound capabilities (Cardiac, Vascular, Venous, Needle Guidance, OB/GYN, MSK, etc).
