  • This song reminds me of Nocturne composed by Chopin.

  • Yes, it's very similar.

  • You know I liked one of your Bach pieces but the original Nocturne Pour Tamaki just doesn't sound like this :(

  • Well, I followed the composer's original sheet music, so you can't really suggest I did something wrong...

  • It's not the notes that are wrong; I simply find that the tempo is so irregular that is just breaks up the song.

By the by, that's not the original sheet music you have but a transcription by Tien. The trills in the beginning (among other things) is a dead giveaway because the original song doesn't have have that at all.

  • Hmmm... Well, the notes are the same, so the score is essentially the same anyway.

And if you wanted to listen to the original, you could listen to the original. This is a performance -- performers incorporate their own style. My style is very romantic... hence, lots of tempo modulation and rubato.

  • where can i buy this arrangement of the song? I've heard so many... lol

    This one is phenomenal.

  • where can i buy the original sheet music?

  • It's actually a technique used to give a note a ringing sound. The way you press the keys affects the way the note sounds, and lifting the wrist presses your fingertips against the keys gradually, producing a longer ringing note.

  • wow
