If Marc Diraison was still voicing Roronoa Zoro...

Marc Diraison was the 4Kids VA for Zoro and in my opinion, he was one of the better performances in otherwise a terrible dub.

His voice fit the character and he showed the right emotions, but what ruined his performance was the horrendous script from whoever the jackass at 4Kids was that thought it was a brilliant idea to have Zoro say puns every line he spoke.

I think this guy is, along with Dan Green, the most underrated voice actor in anime and I decided to use audio clips of him as the main character Guts from the anime Berserk and put them in with random clips of Zoro.

So, what would it have been like if Funimation somehow got Marc Diraison from 4Kids and allowed him to perform as Zoro the way it should have been?

The Berserk dub had all of 4Kids actors, but was left uncensored.

Well since it was dubbed by Media Blasters.

If One Piece had the same treatment. It be a lot better than what you saw on 4Kids.

@Dee15gon Exactly, if they used the same voice actors from the 4Kids dub, but had dubbed the show at NYAV Post (basically the New York equivalent of Funimation, Bang Zoom, Ocean, etc.) it would have been a much better dub.

Granted, it probably wouldn't have been as good as what Funimation have given us now, but it still would have been a huge improvement, since the people who work at 4Kids are great voice actors, they were just let down by 4Kids' awful voice directing.

i don't have anything against Chris Sabat to be voicing Zoro, but i CAN STILL SEE Marc Diraison voicing Zoro, its just too bad 4kids got him first...

Man, I loved this guy. Actually, I didn't like any of the new voice actors. Too high pitched I think. But yes, I loved Zolo's voice actor.

@oyster106 his Oda meant to call him zolo but since japanese cant pronounce l they say with an r noise, so its still pronounced Zoro, but 4kids decided to use the original name

I actually liked some of the 4kids VAs. Their voices were fitting, but the extra censored content was... -sigh-
