I still stick by my guns. That final scene. I give some love to the Dad's out there.

You always here about the Mom and the Mother protecting her young and what not. You don't ever hear about the Dad.

To me this scene is just a shout out to all the Dad's out there. We might be complete f*ck ups, but in the end we know where our heart lies.

Darth Vader, possibly the most iconic villain of history. He knew what being a fucking bad ass was all about.

Anakin was a wooden waste of space but looked cool when he killed the younglings

Funny to think Ian McDiarmid was only in his 30's when this was filmed.

And properly old when the prequels came out.

worked out perfectly for all involved then, mcdiarmid acting saved the prequel

Yes, but he also would have died without them. With his actual Body destroyed Anakin was much, much weaker than he should have been.

I know there were a lot of spin offs and such,

but what of the other Jedi that fought Darth Vader with more physical and Jedi training than Luke?

Ooooh right I forgot,

So whatever physical agility and endurance and such Vader had as a human was no longer with him.

Vader could have easily struck down his son if he had his original body.
