A Compact Fluorescent bulb is disassebled and put in a microwave. The CFL will glow brighter then normal as it absorbs the RF microwave energy. The bulb will rapidly heat so the time must be kept low to prevent the bulb from exploading.

  • Watch the video "Mr. Fluorescent Lasts Longer!" it's hilarious

  • @cbailey78 nearly none though, and it isn't as big a deal as modern sources would say, mainly its important to just minimize prolonged exposure.

  • Slam ThaT!

  • Slam that bitch!

  • The cfl used the microwaves to make light

  • I love that response. As if "the author" had control over the bulb exploding. You must be as smart as "the author."

  • that dangerous

  • easy to make plasma, just put a lit candle in the microwave.

  • That's why the author did not let it explode.

  • Look it made your microwave change directions! XD
