2 iPhones + arduino = iRobot

Just a quick and dirty proof of concept I threw together :)
It was mostly to figure out a simple solution to make the iPhone talk to the Arduino, without having to use a lot of code and hardware.

Came up with the idea of taping two photo resistors on the screen (with black tape to isolate them from other light sources). I then made an app that switches to fields on the screen between white ( = 1) and black ( = 0), and the Arduino get the value by measuring the photo resistors on the analog ports...

This is pretty weird and basic but it works for simple stuff I guess :)

Next up: getting live video / pictures from one iphone to the other so I can drive around and have a look :P
Then I will destroy it again.

Can you program it so you can see the webcam of the travelling iphone? Then you could put vnc server software on the travelling iphone and control and drive it from anywhere with a 3g connection and a vnc viewer!
