Big Bang Beat? ...I've never heard of it. Is it, in any way, related to Guilty Gear and BlazBlue? I know Arc System Works made two other fighting game series other than GG and BB, but I don't remember what they are. ...is this one of 'em?

dunno,theres an 70 page huge tread in the shinryuken forums about BBB and showing how the game is broken and all,i think theres an link to it in big bang beat base or wiki

@kite753 Actually Alice Soft only made Big Bang Age; a visual novel / strategy game which this game is based on. People from NRF made Big Bang Beat and later left the group to form Aja games. Aja is currently developing Big Bang Beat 2.

@PossessedbyPhoenix I know. I've played it a couple weeks ago. The game had a surprising amount of depth from what I've heard. One thing I really like about the game is that when someone dies, they actually DIE. Erased from existence never to be seen or heard from again. That's a neat little feature.

Well, just because there's hentai scenes doesn't mean that's the only thing it's about. Big Bang Age is a great strategy game in its own right, and now it's translated!
