Hi weberstahlherz, your simulation is amazing indeed. Obviously you are an experienced fluent user than me.
did you use multiple rotating frame to simulate the turning of the impellers? do you know if Fluent can be used with 6DOF + dynamic meshing to study fluid-solid interaction if the impeller can be moved? thanks !

thanx, what I want to experiment in cfd as I am tired of the time and effort it takes to build, build and test metal/dangerous models.
I want to play around with vortices and rarefaction above centrifugal impellers inside a tube(check my vortex thruster)
any cfd you recomend that can do that

any one can tell me how long time it takes to learn cfd ..

i've seen your channel, so i assume that you're familiar with both 3d design and cad. also considering you're an engineer who is specialist in at least one kind of fluid dynamics theory... it'll take about a week to be an apprentice. you need a month to compare different math models like "k-eps", or "k-omega" or "rey-str" or "rms" etc... you will calculate the friction loss of your bmw after a semester and than one night you'll write a paper like my "quantifying cavitation (NPSH)". good luck!

Very nice! Thanks.
I want to make a simulation of my small engine, hot air, see my videos.
But I dont know how to do it. Can you recommend me a package? Or maybe do a simulation?
