@Knot6183 Way to show your ignorance. Like Lakorn Nok, Cambodian Khon developed outside the palace since a very long time ago. It is performed by villagers, they are not rich, they are poor. So it is not as refined as the arts that developed in the royal palace like Thai Khon. So you can't compare Thai Khon to Cambodian Khon because they are quite different now but they do share a similar origin.
Also, this is like poor Thai dance at the Erawan shrine and making judgement on Thai, but I don't.

It is copy from Thai 100% but Crazy dancing and ugly performance.
Cambodia Prince remember this stroy and took them back to his country.
Now, Cambodian say that this is the original thing and Thai copy from them. WOW!!!!
Look like monkey action.
Khon of Thai is very Classic performance than this. People can compare how different and see why Khon of Thai is high class than Cambodia.

this is the same as Khon of thailand, except there, they have reduced the use of the masks for many characters and many women are playing the female roles.

It has always been dance by all male performers, it's the opposite of Lakon Lourng, the royal dance, which is performed entirely by females courtisants of the palace. Sometimes a female might dance the role of Seda, but generally a boy or young man does that role. It's similar to the original Shakespears theater, or the Kabuki theater in Japan, and in Thailand they still have all male Ramayana as well. So don't be ignorant.
