This commandment applies not only to swearing but also mocking God.

I am glad you monitor this site and answer comments. Do not forget though that our mission is to reach the world. When someone is tempted to mock, I see it as a God-given opportunity to give me light to pray. I was reading this morning about Saul's conversion on the road to Damascus. I bet you anything you like some christian who he persecuted was praying for Saul's conversion the whole time. We are saved and have so much in Christ, they have nothing and are on the road to death. @jcnicker89 Chris Tomlin is both the author and singer. Sorry for the confusion. Later videos clarify who is the author versus just the performer.
