Judaism, Christianity and Islam sprouted from the holy land. Why aren't the Christians or Muslims of the world claiming it as theirs? All religions used to co-exists in Palestine and the Middle East until Zionism and the Military State of Israel came to be. European Jews have no ancestral right to the Holy Land, they are a religion just like all others, and belonged to their local European nation. Jews have always lived in Palestine/Holy Land, why people think that they were exiled is a mystery.

The Jews have maintained a presence in the Land of Israel uninterruptedly for some four millenia. They are the only people, save for a brief crusader kingdom, who have had an independent sovereignty in this land, the only people for whom Jerusalem has been a capital and whose only sacred places are in this land. No other people has expressed its loyalty to and bond with this land so long and so intensely as the Jews.
