  • Ignorant is bliss, let me help you. All networks have 3G, 3G is 3rd generation wireless. Verizon and Sprint have had their 3G networks for years. Att and Tmo started their 3G networks last year, Att's is very spotty and Tmo's is almost nonexistent. EVDO is the data side of Sprints and Verizons 3G network. The industries 3G network did not start with the "iphone 3G."

  • I know this is old but the iPhone killer respones are funny!

  • @GarrettSnowTV unfortunately, it probably won't sell like windows phone hasn't. People generally don't like new OS' that aren't Android or iOS. But thank you for the update!

  • @trumpet11o6 I think you'll be happy to know that HP is licensing webOS to other companies now.

  • This is a pretty impressive UI! I wish that webos ran on some more devices so it could have phones with larger screens and landscape sliders and such. I get the feeling there's very minimal landscape support, if any, but there isn't much on windows phone either and i still love it on the LG quantum with a landscape slider! Imagine if webos got together with windows phone 7! That would be the best UI ever on a phone. Maybe Nokia should have went with this os!

  • why is web os so perfect?

  • @marteM24 You have never had an IPHONE

  • Now he went to Google Android.

  • @kistajk I wasn't trying to flame it, i've used it. I just prefer the openness and customisation of android. I have friends who like the "walled garden" and feel reassured that apps they download have had to jump through a few hoops in order to get on the app store. It's not a criticism, it's an observation. The apple controlled eco system has it's benefits I just happen to find it too constricting.

  • @irishgandalf757 And I much prefer iOS as it does everything and it does so intuitively. Walled garden is a typical misconception since if you read heaps of articles you'd understand Android isn't as 'free' as their fans make it out to be as well.

Anyway I don't feel like starting another silly iOS vs Android war, so let's just leave it at 'to each their own'.

*And I thought I just met the first android fan not trying to flame iOS. Guess they are all the same.
