@loperspest which will force the industry to develop new technologies that leads to new development and perhaps even the creation of a enterely new industry. That will lead to a new tech boom that we all will benefit.

@Kenshiroit Which would require more consumables, hydrogen and oxygen for the fuel cells, food and oxygen for the astronauts, more carbon dioxide scrubbers, probably more radiation shielding, all of which would add to the mass, which means . .you still need a massive rocket. It's fine for an unmanned probe, but probably isn't an option for an manned missions.

@Thatguywithlogic helium III is not only used in nuclear industry, it has also other purposes. And there are tons of other important minerals on the moon. We sdhould go there ASAP

@Thatguywithlogic actually there are ONLY benefits with space travel. Especially in crisis time. Space travel may give us the kick we need to make the economy starts again...
