  • kiwis havin a cry about the refs haha typical

  • Might I remind you that the Referee is an Australian, with an Australian team competing in Australia? No analysis is needed to uncover such an uneven playing field in the first place you silly tosser.

  • @SoCalRugger sorry what exactly has the AB's got to do with a game between the Crusaders and the Reds????

  • @TT76472 and how many things did the AB's get away with during the last tri-nations. might i remind the certain test match against south africa where richie mccaw was given a warning, then a last warning, and ultimately an official last warning. for constant hands in the ruck.

  • @timothytiminz when we are looking at slow mo video of the incident to determine what happened I dont think you can describe it as "clearly" anything.

From this camera angle it looks like Ioane is in contact with initially Horwill and then Franks, then McCaw. Genia looks to be in contact with Horwill initially but loses touch when Horwill is cleaned out.

Franks did a great cleanout and probably deserved to secure possession but McCaw ignored the refs call that the ruck was still formed.

  • @timothytimnz Precisely. Ioane is not in contact and neither is Genia.

  • I think the final decision is tight enough. To a degree, you could say if that was a scrumhalf, he's just digging out the ball, as most scrum halves do. I would have thought it's on crusaders side, so anyone can touch it. Although, Mccaws side entry would eliminate that. The two forward passes, it happens and the touch judgesmore than the referee should have picked on it I think.. But top video, love it!

  • The reds have gotten away with so many these fwd passes the last few games it has to stop.

  • if it looks forward it probably is...

  • Ioane is not a part of the ruck when you freezed the frame an said McCaw entered. When he actually does enter the mass of bodies and retrives the ball the ruck is clearly over.

Later you claim Genia is in the ruck - again he is not bound, merely a by stander. I know many Australians believe Genia to be the messiah but he does not have the power of metaphysical touch.
