Beautiful and perfect pieces are getting hader to harder to find. This is why the prices are up and staying there. A painting by Picaso is worth millionsssssssss so why not recognize the work of other artist such as Gallé, Daum or others?

i think the glassware is higher in price than the furniture because glass gets chipped, cracked, or broken therefore it is rarer. I have found it difficult to find a piece of Galle or Lagras in mint condition in America. You can find it but it is very expensive
