In celebration of Alaska Day 2009, Sen. Murkowski invites you to take a video tour of her office.
Sending greetings from her Washington D.C. office, Murkowski shares with viewers some of the Alaska art on loan to her office, as well as some personal items from Alaska that are of special significance.
On her tour, Sen. Murkowski guides visitors through her office as they see a Tlingit carving entitled Raven Steals the Sun, a totem pole on loan from Sealaska and some Alaska Native dolls belonging to Sen. Murkowski. Also on the tour is Walter, a 63 lbs king salmon Sen. Murkowski caught while fishing on the Kenai in July 2006.
