Oh my god whitney look at your talent and the adoration worldwide, im so sorry you couldn't feel it and needed to get away with substances, I know how it feels and I know everyday is a nightmare but I wish you were still here. We miss you so much RIP X

What I'm guessing is that it's not so much her vocal cords that took a beating but her heart muscle due to cocaine use. When you're out of breath u can't extend notes.

She really doesn't sound as bad as people are saying on here. Not as good as she used did, but not BAD. Drugs or no drugs, cigarettes or no cigarettes people shouldn't have expected her voice to sound in her late 40s as it did in her 20s.
