@HeartCrushedDakota I was alive back then. It was like a kid at Christmas with every new Beatles' song. It still brings a chill to hear some of this stuff 48 years on. On the other hand, having 61 years on the planet means there aint that much time left, so enjoy being young while you can, as it rushes past much too fast. It really doesn't seem that long ago that we sat in front of the flickering 13" B&W screen and watched Ed Sullivan introduce 4 young lads from Liverpool. Not so long ago at all

No one comes close to the boys from my home town. To write one good song is an achievement to write 100's is more than amazing. If you don't believe me try writing a song that will stand out and be remembered, it's not easy. And if you ever get the chance to see McCartney live you will see that they were no fluke. He is note perfect and can really deliver the goods. Their songs are still being played after 50 years and are still as popular, somehow I don't think it will be the same with Lady Ga

Daytripping in Britain was/is when a person takes a one day holiday just to get away from it all. While all you drug addicts want to read something into it, it's really about what it says, a girl who gets her kicks by teasing a guy and then not putting out.. John Lennon said the original lyrics were "she's a prick teaser, she took me half way there..." But they couldn't get it past the censors.
